ON SUNDAYS AT 3PM - WITH LYNN DAVIS
Feeling Groovy is an hour of love, peace and good music brought to you by Lynn to enjoy on a Sunday afternoon.
Do you remember the Flower Power era of the late sixties? The songs from that time feature heavily in this show, along with some newer songs which also fit the mood.
So if you're listening at home, light your joss sticks and sit back and enjoy! If you're in hospital, well maybe joss sticks aren't an option but take a good deep sniff of your patchouli oil and lay back and drift away into more peaceful times....
Featured sometimes on this show are some local unsigned artists, which I've come across on my daily travels. I've stopped to listen to buskers which have particularly drawn me, and been given songs from others who have created their own music. Below are examples of these and links to their websites so that you may sample their work!
Ren, a busker from Brighton. I first saw him play on Brighton seafront in summer 2015 and was blown away by his talent. He was playing some of his own songs as well as covers of well-known classics and did a brilliant rendition of "Ain't No Sunshine". He has produced his own CD of self-penned songs, called Freckled Angels, as a tribute to his friend Joe.

Simon Adams from Brighton is a drummer in a Beatles tribute band and has written, sung, played and produced some of his own songs, which I have played on my show. I think they have a touch of Colin Blunstone about them! You can hear these via this link:
Sybie, from New Zealand, was busking in the shopping precinct in Horsham in August 2017 and whilst walking through the precinct I was captivated by her amazingly lovely and pure voice. She too had compiled a CD of self-penned songs and I just had to buy it.
