Dave Vickery

Dave Vickery, along with Dave Field, is our longest serving member. Much of the time having presented our 'Sunday Best' programme on Sunday afternoons, He now stands in for presenters when they are off on their hols! He also presents Tuesday Melody every week, playing a great mix of easy listening favourites.

Dave is a big fan of the Sixties so expect to hear some classics from that decade, along with music from the continent in the 'continental spot', a classical piece or two, mixed in with the best of today. Also taking a look at famous birthdays of the day, the latest football results and of course patient requests and dedications.

For 2 consecutive years he served as our Programme Controller, amongst many other duties during his time on the committee.

Dave has helped out with numerous Outside broadcasts through the years and is a keen request collector and Ward visitor. "It's always nice to meet the listeners and to play their favourite songs. That's the beauty of Hospital Radio!"
