Bob Burgess

Bob joined the station in 1988, and before you could say "don't let that hooligan anywhere near a microphone" he was presenting a show on Saturday afternoons called Tea Time Tunes. He is thus proud to describe himself as one of the Old Gits.

In his time with the organisation, Bob has served in a variety of different committee roles, and is also the man responsible for the once infamous in-house station mag - Splat! - although he's promised faithfully never to do that again. And we believe him.

He took a brief break in 1999 to pursue other interests (armchair, TV etc.) but has now been coaxed back!

Bob presents a show on Thursday evenings, called Night Time Tunes. It took him ages to come up with that title. (and we believe him...)
