Music Library
When we say we play everything at Seaside, we really mean it. From the great sounds of the Sixties, to the hits of today, and right back to the golden age of music hall, big bands and classical, our range of request availability is massive.
We are fortunate to have a vast music library of over 30,000 tracks, on vinyl LP and single, CD and Mini-Disc, and more added all the time. I'm Mike Morrison, and together with Mark Stephen it is our job to maintain the library, add new additions to the library and delete the ones which get damaged or get worn out (good ol' vinyl..!)
Our members also have large music collections so if there was ever a chance of us not being able to fulfil a request, someone is bound to have the song they wanted to hear.
We still accept donations of music for our library, however due to lack of space we now only accept donations of music on CD. And being better quality, Compact Discs should last us longer with no pops and crackles!
Take a look at our New Music section for information on some of the new additions to our library, and click over to the Programmes page to find out more about what you can hear on Seaside Hospital Radio.
