About Seaside Hospital Radio
Seaside Hospital Radio (formerly Radio Southlands) is the station which broadcasts 24 hours a day exclusively to the patients, staff and visitors of Southlands Hospital, Shoreham-by-Sea, and Worthing Hospital, Worthing, West Sussex, England.
Our catchment area stretches from Littlehampton to the West, along the coast to Southwick to the East, and inland to Steyning and Small Dole.
we broadcast our own programmes from our fully equipped studio suite located within Southlands Hospital.
we have a skilled team of broadcasters, producers, request collectors, music specialists and technicians who all help to make the station work, from visiting the patients on the wards to presenting regular on air shows.
Seaside Hospital Radio is a UK registered Charity, number 297515, and we are funded entirely by donations, fundraising and our annual membership fees.
